Transformers 2: I Hate Your Childhood

Transformers was an alright movie. It was nothing like the cartoon, which I fucking love, but the cartoon was dated, all 80's cars so it made sense to update it. The effects were outstanding, I never thought I would see Optimus on the live action big screen ever, but that wasn't Optimus and those weren't my Transformers. Sure the flick made a shit load of money and by all accounts Michael Bay was the best choice to direct a huge car-robot-action film, but still not what I would have liked.
However he is at it again. Shooting starts this summer and casting rumors already crowding the internet. Jonah Hill of "SuperBad" is rumored to be joining the cast as Sam Wicky's college roommate and I couldn't be more bummed.
I thought that the first one focused too much on the humans and not the robots and it looks like its going to be the same thing again. Transformers should be all about huge fighting robots not cleaver, funny kids.
I want to see Optimus beating the shit out of Devestator and Grimlock kicking everyones ass but its not going to happen.
Michael Bay you are raping my childhood.
Fuck.

IRON MOTHAFUCKING MAN

I am sooo stoked for this movie. Everything I have read about it so far makes me believe that I was right about Marvel Studios and what they are trying to do. Robert Downy JR is the perfect Tony Stark.
I need to see this right now, I'm losing my mind over it.

Anyone remember this? I sure as hell do.

Grand Theft Auto....The Best Game Ever?

Its time again for the end of humanity to begin. Yes another Grand Theft Auto game is coming out on Tuesday, and this one promises to be the best to date. GTA 4 has had huge buzz around it since it was announced years ago, even more when Microsoft said it was coming to the Xbox 360 the same day as Sony's PS3. Big news as all previous GTA games debut on the Sony machine and then later ported to the Xbox. Even bigger news is that that Rockstar, the team behind the hit series, is making exclusive downloadble content for the Xbox 360 which will expand the rumored 100+ hours of game play. The bulk of New York City has been built into GTA 4 as Librity City. Another big announcement about the game came when Rockstar said, that for the first time on a consul version, GTA will have online multi-player options. In fact there are 16 different online modes to play. A gamers wet dream.
The gaming press has been covering this very intensely for the past month, with IGN devoting all of last week to it. Over the weekend IGN posted their review of the game giving it a 10 out of 10. They have never given a game a perfect score in all 10 years of being a web publication. Fuck, they didn't even give Bioshock, KOTOR 1 or Final Fantasy 7 a 10. While I don't believe that the gaming press takes it self that seriously they still like being called journalist and this "review" brings into question the integrity of writing a review and buying into the hype and basically running a weeks worth of advertising for a game.

I am the God damn Batman

is what this movie should have been called, but only if Frank Miller wrote and directed it. They should let Miller write and direct a Batman movie, it would be the biggest comedy of all time.
Oh, new one sheet for The Dark Knight, color me stoked.

And speaking of Frank Miller here is a video posted in 2006 where he shows off some of the art from his long over due Batman OGN called Batman: Holy Terror Batman. Its about Batman beating up al-Quada. The art looks huge and amazing, too bad he broke his arm in the middle of doing it and then decided he would rather make Sin City, and Sin City 2...oppps I ment the Spirt films instead of doing comics.

And here is The Spirit trailer, beyond reminding me visually of Sin City it reminds me of a scene he wrote in DC's All Star Batman and Robin.

My print collection, V.1

I spend a lot of money on prints. I'm kinda stupid. Most of them just stay under my bed because I don't have the wall space or the money to go get them framed, yet I still keep buying them.
I am go to start posting my print collection just cuz I have a lot of cool ones that aren't going to be seen hanging in the near future and I think peeps should know I have them.

The first volume of this will be the Bridge 9 triple record release show set.
I am not the original owner of this. I bought these off of my friend Danny about 4 years ago for $75. At the time I had been trying to win a set off of eBay but had been losing due to the fact that they all were selling for over $125. In the past 2 years I haven't seen any new auctions for them.
Posted below is all 3, framed and hanging in my hallway. The corrisponding numbers are also photographed. A couple people have tried to buy them off of me but I like them too much and have yet to be that hard up for cash to get rid of them. The quality of the pics kind of sucks because I don't have a camera and these all came off of my phone.

i wish my wang could do this

about 5 minutes of Venture Bros season 3 footage taken the old fashion way from nycc over the weekend. god i love the assholes who bring handie cams everywhere.

worst. game. ever.

This news is about a week old but I don't care. Sometime next year Midway games will be releasing there latest version of Mortal Kombat, this time entitled Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe. Oh there are soooo many things wrong with this.
Mortal Kombat has fallen off big time. I remember growing up how much that game ruled, it was like Street Fighter 2 but less cartoony and more bloody, and when you are 13-14 thats the kind of fighting game you want.
The details are sketchy now but they have confirmed that Sub Zero, Scorpion, Batman and Superman will be in it. Also they have confirmed that there will be less gore and blood and no fatalities.
A Mortal Kombat game with no fatalites is a porno with no money shot, its just not worth getting hard over.

Peep the vid if you want.
