Ok...Street Fighter 4 is looking a lot like Street Fighter 2, just add some word like Turbo Alpha Delta after it and there you go. So far they have ignored every good character that came after SF2 and I don't think that counts as a sequel. Wheres Akuma, or Camey, or Dan? or any of the peeps from SF3?

Doooom: Con Report Part 1

Here is my super sweet Dr Doom Sinestro Corp sketch done by the ultra talented Ethan Van Sciver. I got on his sketch list before the con opened on Saturday and he got excited when I told him what I wanted. I picked it up on Sunday and everyone in his line wanted it.

I'm Tired

I've been lifting too much this week I think. I fell asleep on the couch last night after getting home from the gym to a show on NGC about the book of revelations and couldn't find it in me to pull myself off the couch and find my bed.

The Seattle International Film Fest schedule has been posted. Looks alright, theres been better years. The first year I went was amazing, but I think my interest in weird, forign film has gone away a bit.

I am trying to go through my comics for the con this weekend and I am running out of room to put shit and its hurting my back lifting long box after long box out of the closet.

Stop Raping My Childhood: Part 2

They are making a live action G.I. Joe movie now, most likely it will suck. Here is what a G.I. Joe movie should look like.



Part of the reason G.I . Joe was cool was that it was very cartoony. No one would go into battle dressed like that. It doesn't make sense. And the villans were way to over the top. Cobara Commander? Destro? Zartan? They are all straight out of a comic book in apperence and anyone dressed like that were to show up to fight a war would get laughed off the battlefield.
But Steven Sommers, the guy behind the Mummy movies, is aiming to make his version of G.I. Joe very realistic. In fact here is what some of his cast look like.

Storm Shadow and the Barroness

And this is what Cobra Commander's mask is suppose to look like.


The only two people who look like they are suppose to are Snake Eyes and Hawk, Storm Shadow looks cool but he isn't wearing the mask from the cartoon. The black body suits scare me, they look stupid and generic. Barroness lokks alright, still not into the casting on it and she should be wearing glasses and Cobra Commander's mask is horrible. Maybe when its painted and he is in full costume it will look cool but I doubt it.
The Rock is suppose to be playing Shipwreak in the film. Thats fucking dumb.
This and the Transformers films have almost destroyed my favorite shows growing up. Thanks Hollywood.
